Iris

I believe these are called Siberian Iris, they are beautiful and graceful. And my favorite out of the Irises I have planted in my yard. They have a beautiful grasslike foilage. They are also purple in color which is also my favorite color for flowers.

This is my entry for Todays Flowers to see more beautiful flowers go and visit http://flowersfromtoday.blogspot.com/

  1. The iris are so beautiful and I also love the garden sculpture. I had to click and enlarge the shot to make sure you didn’t have a blue heron wandering around your garden.

  2. I love your Siberian Iris’ Eileen. Absolute love that color too. Think I will be planting some in my own garden this year. Thanks for sharing with Today’s Flowers. Have a great week.

  3. Those look like Siberian Iris to me. One nice thing about them is they can grow in really wet areas. They also make nice clumps that can be easily divided. free plants are always nice.

  4. purple is one of my favorite flower colors too!
I have these same Irises in my yard & I love how the foliage stays behind for the rest of summer.

  5. You have beautiful irises too! Their color is so striking and bold, love them! I will have to get some of this type, I think I had them when I lived at my parents house, thanks for the reminder =)

  6. Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!

    Cheers
