North Cascade Wildflowers

This post on the wildflowers I saw while hubby and I drove the North Cascade Loop in Washington State. I am not sure about the id’s so if someone knows them please let me know. I was surprised to see so many different wildflowers still in bloom in September.

  1. Lovely finds! I know the last one very well. Fireweed, I believe. According to my wildflower field guide, the nectar from the fireweed flowers makes an excellent honey.

    P.S. The sweet peas I grow are annuals.
