Roadtrip…Blue Ridge Parkway

We recently returned from a road trip to North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Parkway. A scenic 460 mile drive through Virginia and North Carolina.  We spent one night in Staunton Virginia, 2 nights in Boone North Carolina and 3 nights in Asheville North Carolina.

The following images are photos from the first day in Virginia and on the Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park.   During our 6 days, we hiked to various waterfalls, rocky trails and saw beautiful scenic views.

  1. I like the look of your blog, Eileen. Beautiful header photo, and great shots from your road trip. Can’t say I’ve ever seen witch hazel before. Kind of strange looking, but very interesting because of all it’s medicinal uses over the years. Have a great weekend!
